The Skipper Cup semifinal will go ahead as scheduled and the Fiji Rugby Union will be compensating all the unions after some issues were raised by the Nadroga Rugby Union.

After FRU's meeting with all the unions last Saturday, Nadroga Rugby Union President Tiko Matawalu said they are now satisfied as all their issues have been resolved after a series of talks with the FRU.

Matawalu added that the meeting was also to strengthen the relationship between the Unions and FRU.

Matawalu said the FRU has assured the unions that all the compensation payments will be made before the Farebrother Cup challenge begins.

Meanwhile FRU CEO Radrodro Tabualevu said they had a good discussion with the unions which was a good way to start his journey with FRU.

Nadroga will meet Suva at Lawaqa Park in the first Skipper Cup semifinal at 3.30pm this Saturday.

Naitasiri will play Nadi in the second semifinal at Ratu Cakobau Park next Saturday.
