The Police Search and Rescue team has confirmed that six people are missing at sea including the Roko Tui Lau Peni Sokia.
According to police, the Roko Tui Lau with five others including, 39-year-old Semiti Bukinamasi, 39-year-old Akuila Senikau, 43-year-old Ilaitia Vuli, 25-year-old crew Josefa Tukai and 26-year-old captain Josefa Dilo left Lakeba for Suva at 6am yesterday in a half cabin white outboard with two 40 horsepower engines.
They were last contacted at around midday and their location was Gau Island. Mariners and people living along the shorelines are urged to keep a lookout for this white fibre glass boat with men on board.
