Waikato Chiefs winger Sitiveni Sivivatu is the only experienced test wing left in New Zealand for the Tri Nations and tests matches against Ireland and England in June.

This comes after his cousin Joe Rokocoko was yesterday ruled out for four months after deciding to have a wrist surgery to correct an injury suffered last month.

All Blacks backs coach, Wayne Smith has opted for Sivivatu as the front runner to retain his place on the flank. It will be interesting to see whether he opts for safety and experience or risk and promise on the other.

The option could mean a positional move for fullback Mils Muliaina to start on the wing with Leon MacDonald at the back.

The latter option though would make sense in the year after the World Cup and present a more exciting, but raw group, including Ma'a Nonu, Anthony Tuitavake and Fetu'u Vainikolo, with a chance.
