Delailasikau village headman Ratu Lino has tonight declared that they do not know what will be left for them when daylight breaks.
Delailasakau is a village in the highlands of Naitasiri where the flight PC121 crashed into the hills some years back.
Ratu Lino said the village felt the full brunt of Cyclone Mick at 2pm yesterday afternoon and the floodwaters started coming into the village.
Most of the villagers have their plantations beside the river and Ratu Lino said most of their cash crops like dalo and cassava were underwater when the floodwaters rose.
No one was injured as most of the villagers moved to the Community Hall to take shelter.
From Waidina in Naitasiri, DISMAC's Waisale Tora said the village of Vanuakula suffered extensive damages.
Residents of Deepwater in Tailevu are awaiting daylight to see the extent of the damages.
Resident Salesh Prasad said they are without power and water supply and a few families living in low lying areas have moved to higher ground.
