Fiji's Ambassador to China has asked the interim government to allocate more funds in the next budget for his office in Beijing, as there is a lot more investment potential for Fiji in China.
Sir James Ah Koy said the fact is that our neighbours Australia and New Zealand are turning their backs on us with sanctions, so therefore it is time to look to other countries for our resources.
Ah Koy said his budget submission is his only involvement in the National Budget and denied the fact that he has any involvement in the compilation of the Budget.
Ah Koy has brought a total of five proposed projects from Chinese investors who have shown interest in setting up in Fiji.
