Steps are now being taken to attract the bulk of over 31 million Chinese to Fiji who are spending their holidays in other tourist destinations.
Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau Chairman, Sir James Ah Koy said there will be no visa restrictions on Chinese nationals following the recent decision of the interim administration.
Meanwhile Sir James is expected to take up his posting as Fiji's Ambassador to China by the end of this month.
Sir James said he is yet to be sworn in by President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo.
