The case of Shalendra Sen Sinha who is facing fraud related charges has been adjourned for another two weeks by the Suva High court this morning.

Sinha's lawyer, Haroon Ali Shah was not present in court today but was represented by Mohammad Anwar Khan who made an application for the case to be adjourned as they are still liaising with the DPP Office on some matters relating to the case.

DPP lawyer, Ana Tuiketei also told the court they are yet to agree on the facts and information which will be used in the court, as they also seek to consolidate Sinha's charges.

Tuiketei told the court that Sinha has some matters in the Western Division and they want to consolidate all the charges before the trial starts.

Sinha is charged with uttering forge documents, forgery, obtaining money on forged documents, money laundering and larceny.

High Court Judge, Justice Daniel Goundar has adjourned the case to the 26th of this month for mention.
