29-year-old Raymond Singh, who is charged with the alleged murder of his wife in Ragg Avenue Namadi Heights in May, has been granted variations to his bail conditions by the Suva High Court.

Judge Justice Daniel Gounder after considering submissions from both counsels ruled that the curfew hours imposed on Singh between 6am and 6pm be varied from 10pm to 5am.

This is to allow Singh to attend classes and travel to the Western division. The case is adjourned to September 1st for mention.

It is alleged that Singh, who earlier pleaded not guilty to the charge, stabbed his wife Wendy Singh after an arguments at their Ragg Avenue Home.
