The Fiji Teachers Union General Secretary, Agni Deo Singh has today revealed that as part of his plans for 2009 will include working with the Ministry of Education to strengthen the Teachers Registration Board.
Last week, Singh revealed that 800 teachers may leave the civil service this month alone and they will be working with the new graduates to acclimatise them to their new posting.
In the Fiji teachers Union election held yesterday, Agni Deo Singh was re-elected as General Secretary while Bal Ram was appointed as President.
