Golfer Vijay Singh is set to return to his golfing roots in Europe in 2010, eyeing up the $12-million jackpot on offer in the second Race to Dubai.

The Fijian triple major winner, who launched his professional career on the European Tour, has been based full-time in America since 1996.

But having seen how Lee Westwood and Rory Mcroy scrapped for millions at the Dubai World Championship last month, Singh now wants a slice of the action.

The 46-year-old, twice winner of the US-PGA Championship and the 2000 Masters champion, has taken out full membership of the European Tour for next year.

While recovering from a recent knee cartilage operation, Singh has yet to decide how he will split his schedule between the US and European Tours.
