Golfer Vijay Singh has officially committed to play in the 2009 HP Byron Nelson Championship.
Singh is No.8 in the official World Golf Ranking, No.121 in the FedEx Cup standings and No.105 in PGA Tour Money Leaders.
Singh ranks No.2 in PGA Tour career earnings. He is the reigning FedEx Cup champion and has a total of 34 PGA Tour victories, claiming three in 2008 alone.
His best 2009 finish was T17 at World Golf Championships. This will be Singh's 10th Championship appearance, including a victory in 2003.
