Singh, this morning in the opening round shot 3 over par 75 to lie in 78th place on the leaderboard.
Singh is 11 shots behind the leader Luke Donald of England. Donald today in the opening round carded 8 under par 64 to lie in first place.
The second round will be played tomorrow.
