Suva soccer team has appointed Gurjeet Singh as its new head coach.
In an emergency meeting last night, Suva Soccer Association decided that Singh will lead the team into the Pillay’s Garments Champions League this weekend.
Singh resigned from his position as Labasa soccer coach yesterday morning and was hired straight away by Suva officials.
Singh who has already coached teams like Navua and Lautoka along with Labasa said Suva has a bright future ahead.
In the Champions League this Friday, Suva will take on Ba at 5pm followed by the Rewa and Labasa match at 7pm.
