Vodafone Fiji Bati hard-hitting man Korbin Sims has been selected to play for the Queensland Maroons in game two of the State of Origin next Wednesday.
The 23 year old and his two older brothers Tariq and Ashton were born in New South Wales, but Korbin fell in love with Queensland when he first signed his contract with the Brisbane Broncos at the age of 15.
Meanwhile, Manly halfback Daly Cherry‑Evans has been recalled by the Maroons to replace the injured Cooper Cronk.
Other players who have been named are Josh Papalii and Dane Gagai.
The second state of origin will be held at 10pm next Wednesday at the MCG ground in Melbourne.
