Vodafone Fiji Bati and North Queensland forward Tariq Sims will miss Monday night’s match against Penrith after unsuccessfully challenging a grade one dangerous contact charge at the NRL judiciary.
Sims was hoping he would plead not guilty over a crusher tackle on Wests Tigers’ Tim Simona in their 64-6 thrashing in Townsville.
The Cowboys will face the Panthers at 9pm Monday.
Meanwhile, the Rabbitohs will face the Broncos at 9.45 tonight.
