Vodafone Fiji Bati and Cowboys forward Tariq Sims has been eyed by the South Sydney Rabbitohs as a most likely replacement for Sam Burgess who will be switching code soon.
Sims is contracted to the Cowboys until the end of next year but has asked for a release to shift his young family to Sydney.
Looking at the results yesterday, the Eels beat defending champions the Roosters 14-12 and Newcastle beat Canberra Raiders 26-12.
Meanwhile in tonight’s clashes, the Warriors will face the Bulldogs at 6pm while the Eagles take on the Sharks at 7pm.
