Vodafone Fiji Bati forward Tariq Sims said they won’t be stepping back against the Burgess brothers from England.

The 21-year-old youngest Sims sibling is quoted on BBC Sports saying, “I know we won’t be taking a backward step and neither will they. Let’s play it hard and let’s play it fast”.

His elder brother Ashton Sims is also quoted saying, “the Burgess boys are three big, bad dudes but so are we”.

Ashton, Tariq and Korbin Sims go up against Sam and George Burgess as Luke Burgess has been sidelined for England.

Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji Bati Head Coach Rick Stone has rested first five-eighth Alipate Tani for tomorrow’s game.

This means that Ryan Millard will make his debut for Fiji along with Semi Radradra while Australian based Peni Botiki will get his first game at the World Cup.

Other players in the side include Jayson Bukuya, Petero Civoniceva, Kane Evans, Aaron Groom, Daryl Millard, Kevin and Wes Naiqama, Vitale Junior Roqica, Ashton, Korbin and Tariq Sims, James Storer, Akuila Uate, Eloni Vunakece and Sisa Waqa.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati will take on England in their last pool match tomorrow at 3.30am.

Meanwhile, New Zealand thumped Papua New Guinea 56-10 in their last pool match this morning.

Sonny Bill Williams scored a hat-trick while winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck touched down twice.
