Silver Ferns coach Waimarama Taumaunu admits she has a few nerves ahead of what should be a straight forward win for New Zealand in the team's one‑off Test against the Fiji Pearls in Wellington tonight.

While they are unlikely to be tested by the Fijians, Tau-maunu is keen to see how her rejigged mid‑court and attacking circle shape up.

Given they only have three tests before next month's World Cup in Sydney, Taumaunu knows they need to get things right quickly.

She adds that Fiji will be firing after their successful win from the Pacific Games.

The Silver Ferns will host the Fiji Pearls at 7.30 tonight in Porirua.
