The Silver Ferns have warned Fiji ahead of tonight's opening pool game that they will hold nothing back during group play in the world netball championships.

New Zealand begins their campaign against Fiji tonight before facing Wales tomorrow and Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday.

Coach Ruth Aitken said they will always go hard out as they have set goals not to cruise in pool games but to use it to show what they can do for the big games as well.

Fiji's coaching staff is likely to give all 12 squad members a run tonight.

The New Zealand and Fiji WNC match starts at 7.30 tonight.
