Former Fiji decathlete and Olympian Albert Miller believes that Suva Grammar School’s long distance runner Inia Sili and Jasper Williams High School’s Meresiana Vukici should be in the final list of athletes to the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea after their impressive performance in last weeks Coca Cola Games.
Miller said he will be meeting with the Fiji Athletics officials to include Sili in the final squad.
Sili ran a time of 1 minute 55 seconds in the 800 metres and an impressive time in the 1,500 metres.
Another athlete who will be running in the Mens 800 metres is Marist Brothers High School long distance runner Anasa Kaito.
Meanwhile Miller said that Meresiana Vukici is in their reserve list and has been struggling with her preparations.
He added that they will relook at their team list to find out where Vukici can be included.
The Pacific Games will be held on July 4th to 18 at Papua New Guinea.
