Sila Central High School is placing their bet on Tevita Nalavo, their 100 and 200 metres sprinter that took the Gold in both events at the Triple N Zone meet, to be the Blue Ribbon champion next week at the Coca Cola Games.

The Coca Cola record stands at 10.74 seconds a record set by Viliame Lalabalavu of Queen Victori School in 1993 and Tevita recorded 10.7 seconds in the 100 metres finals at the Zone and is a sure bet for the Blue Ribbon Event.

He faces stiff competition from Alfred Smith of Natabua High School and Suva Grammars Isoa Me.

Meanwhile, the Coca Cola Torch Relay team has covered Nadi this afternoon and Coca Cola Torch Relay official Onisimo Rokotuinasau said the torch wil rest at Swami Vivekanand before travelling to Sigatoka tomorrow.

The two-day Coca Cola Games kick off on Friday next week at the TFL National Stadium.
