Marist Brothers High School student Sikeli Waqa won a gold medal for Team Fiji in the men’s high jump this morning.
Waqa cleared the bar at 1.98 metres to claim gold.
Meanwhile, Banuve Tabakaucoro will be the lone representative for Fiji in the 200 metres final after Sila Central High School sprinter Waisake Raselala was disqualified in the heats.
Gospel High School student Younis Bese and ACS duo Elenoa Sailosi and Alaiwalu Rayawa will feature in the women’s 200 metres final this afternoon.
