Fish Exports from Fiji has seen a significant increase since 2002.
Figures from the Bureau of Statistics show that over $134 million worth of fish was exported last year compared to $101 million in 2007.
Last year $3 million worth of canned fish was exported and $117 million was raked in by exporting fresh fish.
Fish export was lowest in 2001 which was $78 million and since then gradual increases has been seen.
Export Income from fish is expected to increase this year following devaluation of Fijian dollar.
