As the Wallabies try to beat the world champion All Blacks at Eden Park tomorrow night after a long 26 years, the last coach to lead the Wallabies to victory there, Alan Jones has called time up for current coach Robbie Deans.
Speaking to Radio Live Sport in NZ, Jones said he has little time for the coaching efforts of Deans, who has run the ship for the last four seasons.
He also had some advice for Deans.
He also questioned why a New Zealander is coaching the Wallabies.
Jones asked what Deans is trying to prove by making changes to the team every week.
Jones questioned the amount of time spent with the players on development of skills.
Meanwhile, Quade Cooper will start at No10 for the Wallabies tomorrow night.
All Blacks No8 Kieran Read is promising to make Cooper’s return to Eden Park an eventful one.
But Cooper said he is ready.
New Zealand beat Australia last week 27-19.
The All Blacks have kept the Bledisloe Cup since 2003.
The All Blacks will host the Wallabies at 7:35pm tomorrow while Argentina will meet the Springboks at 7:10am Sunday.
