With a recent survey carried out showing a serious shortage of skilled workers in the country, the Training and Productivity in Fiji is now turning to secondary students to help fill the void.

TPAF Director General, Jone Usamate has called on students of Secondary schools and Tertiary Institutions to carefully choose their subjects and try and fill the technical areas.

Usamate said Fiji faces a severe shortage of skills resulting from continuous and mass exodus of skilled workers.
