Shoppers, regular goers and workers this morning got a shock when a sewerage pipe started leaking at a famous shopping mall in downtown Suva.
Our reporter at the scene, Paradise Tabucala said the pipe started leaking in a shop on the first floor and is now seeping into a second shop, directly below the first, on the ground floor.
The Manager Complex and workers are cleaning up the area while Health Inspectors have also arrived at the scene.
Other shops are open at the complex however the whole building is filled with the stench from the leaking sewerage pipe.
Complex management is expected to comment on the matter later.
