The hunt is on for a man who is alleged to have assaulted a 50 year old Lautoka shopkeeper to death in his shop last night.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the suspect is known to them and police are using all their resources to apprehend him.
Sokomuri said nothing was stolen from the victim’s shop however they are trying to determine the motive behind the alleged murder.
The post mortem results of the deceased reveal that he died of brain hemorrhage.
