A shipping company will still go ahead with their schedule.

Director for Consort Shipping, Justin Smith said they will go ahead with their schedule as Tropical Cyclone Tomas is currently located 700 kilometres North East of Udu Point.

He said the boat will be traveling to Savusavu this evening where the passengers and the crew will weather any extreme condition as they will be sheltered in the Savusavu Bay.

Meanwhile, Bligh Water Shipping and Chief Executive Abraham Simpson said all trips to Rotuma and Savusavu scheduled for today have been cancelled until further notice.
