The shipping companies that are servicing the various islands in the country are closely monitoring the weather conditions before a decision is made on whether to delay their service.

Fijivillage spoke with Bligh Water Shipping and Chief Executive Abraham Simpson said all trips to Rotuma and Savusavu scheduled for today have been cancelled until further notice.

Consort shipping confirmed that at the moment their services are normal however they are also monitoring the weather before making any decisions.

Pacific Sun CEO Manoa Kamikamica also confirmed that they are closely monitoring the situation and while all flights remain on schedule, they will advise their customers if there are any changes.
