Good news for consumers as the prices of flour are to decrease from tomorrow.

This has been confirmed by the Prices and Incomes Board who add the price of flour and sharp will decrease from tomorrow following a marked decrease in the prices of raw material costs.

For a kg of flour, the price decreases from $1.37 to $1.23, decrease of 14c, a 1kg pack price decreases from $1.47 to $1.32, a decrease of 15c, a 2kg pack price decreases from $2.79 to 2.49, a decrease of 30c, 4kg pack price decreases from $5.56 from $5.08, a decrease of 48c, a 10kg pack price decreases from $13.87 to $12.41, a decrease of $1.46.

The new prices of Sharps are for a kg $1.30 to $1.23, a decrease of 7c, the 1kg pack price decreases from $1.48 to $1.33, a decrease of 15c, the 2kg pack price decreases from $2.80 to $2.51, a decrease of 29c, the 4kg pack price decreases from $5.69 to $5.11, a 58c decrease and the 10kg pack price decrease from $13.95 to $12.49, a decrease of $1.46.

The PIB said these prices are for the cities of Suva and Lautoka, Ba, Lami, Nadi, Sigatoka, Tavua, Nausori and Nasinu and areas within 5 kilometers from any of the post offices situated at Korovou, Navua and Rakiraki.
