Sharks fly half Butch James has been suspended for a month after pleading guilty to making a dangerous tackle against a Bulls player.
James has been suspended from all forms of the game for four weeks.
Meanwhile, the Bulls lead the points table with 63 points, the Chiefs are on 61 while the Brumbies have 59. The wild card teams are Crusaders, Reds and Cheetahs.
The Crusaders take on the Hurricanes at 7.35pm Friday. At 7.35pm the Chiefs play the Blues while the Waratahs play the Reds at 9.40pm.
