The Sharks have accomplished mission impossible, have made a mockery of the travel factor again by defeating the Stormers on their home turf 19-26 this morning.

This means the Sharks will take the road again and travel to meet the Chiefs in Hamilton.

Despite winning the South African Conference the Stormers have received criticism all season for their failure to score tries which has been a hallmark of successful Super Rugby sides and it was no different in the game as Sharks scored two tries to the Stormers one.

Former France fly half Frederic Michalak slotted two crucial drop goals and set up one of the Sharks two tries to spark a 26-19 upset over the table-topping Stormers and set up a final against the Chiefs in New Zealand on Saturday.

Both sides have never won a super rugby title with the Sharks being runners up on 3 occasions, while the Chiefs only once.

The Chiefs and Sharks Super Rugby final will take place on Saturday.
