Shamima Ali
Fiji Women's Crisis Centre and Fiji Human Rights Commissioner, Shameema Ali was last night banned from leaving the country.
Ali was supposed to board the 8.40pm flight to Brisbane.
When speaking to Village News, Ali said that she was stopped by officials at the Nadi International Airport and was told that she would not be able to travel.
Ali said that no reason was given for her travel ban and she does not see any reason why she should have been barred from boarding her flight to Brisbane.
