Save the Children Fiji has raised concern on the recent cases of sexual and indecent assault against children.
Chief Executive Officer Chandra Shekhar said sexual assault against children is one of the most terrible crimes and it is disturbing to see that these crimes are committed by people known to the child.
He adds that there should be a combined effort to counter these issues.
In the past few days there were reports of a father allegedly raping his daughter, indecently assaulting his niece and a 69 year old man who allegedly defiled two kindergarden students.
