Sexual abuse a concernSave the Children Fiji has expressed grave concern at the recent increase in child sexual abuse cases.
Chief Executive Officer Chandra Shekar said that it is sad to see that many times perpetrators of such crimes are people known to the child.
He is calling on parents and guardians to pay more attention to their children during this festive season and ensure that they know the location of their children at all times.
He said it is also important to listen to children and to take them seriously.
