A severe flood warning remains in force for the Fiji group and Rotuma.

The Nadi Weather Office confirmed that a strong wind warning is also now in force for the Fiji group as an active South Pacific Convergence zone associated with strong winds and rain bands affect the country.

Winds of up to 55 kilometers per hour with momentary gusts of upto 90 kilometers per hour is expected over Vanua Levu, Yasawa's, Taveuni and the Northern Lau group spreading to the rest of the group from this morning.
