The Digicel Fiji Sevens team has booked a spot in the semifinal of the Hong Kong Sevens with a close 14-12 win against South Africa in the quarterfinal.
Fiji led 14-5 at halftime and scored a converted try to win the game.
They will play against the winner of the New Zealand and Kenya.
In the first semifinal Samoa will play against England.
Samoa defeated USA 24-7 while England edged Australia with a last minute try with a 26-19 win.
The first semifinal between Samoa and England will kick off at 8.30pm.
Fiji will play at 8.50pm
