The Digicel Fiji Sevens team will go into the first IRB World Sevens Series tournament in Dubai next month as the fourth seeded team.

Waisale Serevi's team has been drawn in pool D with England, USA and Portugal.

They will meet USA in their opening pool match and then face Portugal before meeting England in their final pool encounter.

New Zealand is the top seed in the Dubai Sevens.

They will face a tough start to the 10th anniversary Sevens season and a mouth-watering clash in pool A with trans-Tasman rivals Australia, Wales and the line-up will be completed by the African qualifier for next year's Rugby World Cup Sevens, to be decided between 31st October - 1st November.

South Africa finished second to New Zealand in last season's standings and are seeded second in Dubai and have been drawn in pool B with Kenya, Scotland and the Arabian Gulf.

The Islanders of Samoa were the only other side to win a tournament in the 2007/08 Series, the London Sevens at Twickenham and as third seed, they top pool C against Argentina, France and Georgia.

The Dubai Sevens tournament will held on the 28/29 of November.
