Sevens Team Lose Nabuliwaqa
Lepani Naubuliwaqa confirmed to the Sevens team management that he will not be able to travel with the team for the last leg of the IRB World Sevens Series because he injured himself during the Gaunavou Sevens tournament in Savusavu last weekend.
Fiji Sevens coach Joe Savou said they already have a replacement for Nabuliwaqa.
Japan based Semisi Naevo was the first to pull out last week through injury while William Ryder was not considered after his poor performance in the Hong Kong and Adelaide Sevens tournaments.
Meanwhile, Fiji Barbarians flanker Kolinio Vasu has been released by coach Eddie Waqa to join the national sevens team in camp. Savou said this is good news and they now have 15 players in training.
The final 12 member team to the London and Edinburgh Sevens tournaments will be announced next week.
