The Digicel Fiji Sevens team is now aiming to finish in second spot after failing to win a tournament in the 2007 and 2008 IRB World Sevens Series.

This morning Fiji lost to Samoa in the London Sevens tournament final by 19-14 and currently lies in 3rd place with 90 points. They can get the second spot if they finish well ahead of South Africa, who at the moment sits in second place with 98 points.

New Zealand which has 134 points has won this season's IRB World Sevens Series.

Meanwhile, Fiji Sevens team management were not happy with the way the referee disallowed their last minute try by Nasoni Roko, which could have given them the London Sevens title.

Team manager Opetaia Ravai said they had to go by the decision as nothing can be changed now.
