Beauden Barrett is awaiting further tests on his injured hip and only took part in light training today.

But assistant coach Ian Foster said Aaron Cruden looks to have recovered well from his broken thumb.

Daniel Carter has also been with the squad today but Foster said he is still recovering from injuries and isn't due back for a while yet and he's not involved in any of the preparation for the June series.

Meanwhile, in super rugby this Friday the Blues play the Sharks at 7:35pm while the Rebels host the Waratahs at 9:40pm.
