The Flying Fijians rugby team has suffered another setback this week as they prepare for their first Pacific Nations Cup match against Japan on Saturday.

This is after two of their players were suspended after Saturday night's 49 3 loss to Australia in Canberra, both for dangerous tackles on Matt Giteau.

The two players include centre Saula Radidi who was handed a two match ban after being cited for a dangerous tackle on Giteau early in the second half, while fullback Taniela Rawaqa was suspended for one game after being cited for a dangerous tackle/shoulder charge, also on Giteau, this time in the first half.

The two players appeared before judicial officer Dennis Wheelahan in Canberra on Sunday morning and pleaded guilty to the charges.

Meanwhile the Flying Fijians meet Japan at 3pm Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka and you can catch the live-commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM.
