Fijian born and Taranaki centre Setareki Tamanivalu has signed a contract with the Super Rugby franchise Chiefs for the next season of Super Rugby.
Chiefs coach Dave Rennie said that Tamanivalu is the form centre of the ITM Cup and has been key to Taranaki’s success.
The former Lelean Memorial School student was also part of the All Blacks 7s team two years ago.
The Chiefs have also signed up Prop Mitchell Graham who played for Canterbury.
The full Chiefs squad will be confirmed at the end of the month.
