The Fijian Teachers Association is now calling on the Ministry of Education to set aside some funds for those teachers who will be travelling to the Outer Island in the Eastern division.
FTA, President Tevita Koroi said teachers in the past years have been late to their respective schools in the islands because of boat problems and they do not want a repeat of it in the beginning of a new school term.
Koroi believes this problem have to be solve as they do not want the students to suffer.
