The Divisional Engineer Roads Western, Atunaisa Nayago has confirmed, that out of 271 workers only 100 walked off their jobs today.
He has confirmed that services are normal and they members of the public should not be worried.
In Labasa out of 150 employees only about only 25 of them are on strike.
According to Taveuni Depot Road Supervisor, Hameed Hussein some members of the union are still working. 17 have walked out of their jobs while 23 workers including six members of the PEU are still working. In the Mechanical Department, 2 out of 7 members are on strike.
