All service stations in the country will soon become self service centers as the Fiji Service Station Retailers Association pushes for an increase in the percentage mark up on the sale of fuel from service stations.

They claim that they are unable to make any profit as the mark up has not been reviewed for many years.

According to the Association Secretary John Philip said the Prices and Incomes Board has not asked for audited accounts for all service station retailers adding however, many cannot afford to get their accounts audited.

He also said many of their members are not able to afford bowser attendants anymore.
