Serious concerns are now being raised on the brawl between more than 100 students of two prominent schools last Friday and how the management teams of the schools are handling the matter.

Fijivillage has established that the brawl started at Service Street on Friday afternoon and majority of the students were in school uniform.

The brawl then ended up at Sukuna Park.

Fortunately police officers rushed to the scene and took many of the students to Totogo Police Station.

Reports have also emerged that students started targeting any student with a particular school uniform and several innocent students were punched up.

A student was treated at CWM Hospital and sent home after receiving injuries.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said investigations are continuing and many students are not revealing much information.

She said police want to establish the cause of the brawl and ensure that this stops immediately.

The Principals and Vice Principals of both schools were also called in by the police.

Naisoro said they will hold further discussions later this week and plans are in the pipeline for a reconciliation session.

Concerns are also being raised on the number of students who roam around the capital city after school hours.

We will have more on this later today.
