Former Fiji 7s coach, Waisale Serevi's input to the team in Hong Kong can be vital as he has been given the role to boost the confidence in players, especially for the new ones.
This is according to head coach, Alivereti Dere.
He said Serevi and Tomasi Cama Senior will be carrying out their respective roles before the team enters the field of play.
We also asked Dere whether Serevi and Cama will be calling the shots from the sidelines.
Dere said he cannot say now if he would need the help of Serevi and Cama in future tournaments as everything will depend on the outcome of this tournament.
Fiji will play Hong Kong at 9.06pm this Friday in the first match.
Fiji's second pool match is against Spain at 2.06pm on Saturday and Canada at 10.54pm.
The cup quarter finals start 3.48pm on Sunday, cup semis kicks off at 8.06pm and the cup final will be played at 11pm.
