Waisale Serevi's sacking comes at a wrong time for Fiji.
IRB 7's series most successful Coach, New Zealand 7's Gordon Tietjens said the move by the Fiji Rugby Union to remove Serevi yesterday comes at a very crucial time since only five days remain for the new Coach, Iliesa Tanivula to be able to mould the side for the Wellington 7's Tournament.
Tietjens also adds that it would take time for the new batch of Fiji players to form a winning combination under a new coach.
While alot of questions have been asked as to who has the final say, Tietjens said for New Zealand his decision is final.
The Wellington 7's kicks off on the 6th of February.
Fiji has been drawn into the same Pool with Samoa, USA and Cook Islands and will have their opening game against USA at 12.44pm.
