Waisale Serevi
The Falcons, winless and stuck at the bottom of the Currie Cup standings, received a timely boost with the news that legendary former Fiji 7's coach Waisale Serevi will join up with the union in the coming weeks.

The visit confirms recent reports of a link between the East Rand Currie Cup side and the player widely acclaimed to be the best 7's player of all time.

Serevi will soon leave for Johannesburgh for a week of promotions, official functions and junior rugby activities as part of the Falcons Rugby Development programme.

The Falcons Director of Rugby Naas Botha declined to comment on suggestions that Serevi would be playing for Falcons, confirming only that he was on a private visit.
